Whether you like it or not – you are in a war. You can’t see your enemy – but you can feel him. He works day and night to destroy the very work that God has done in your life. He puts perverted thoughts in your mind, discourages you when things don’t go right, makes you question God, upsets your emotions and tempts you into doing things you never dreamed you would do. Satan is his name and torment is his game. He has workers called “demons” that work for him so that he can focus on other matters such as world leaders, abortion, dividing churches and turning nations back to paganism.

I didn’t choose to be in this battle, neither did you – but we are in it and it’s going to be a long battle. Satan is relentless. He is more committed to his purpose than most Christians are to prayer and fasting. He has a high success rate. When abortion became legal in the United States he knew that he had just won a large victory. When prayer was taken out of schools he sat back and took a break because he knew that he’d just conquered a major battle. When Christians began to be more focused on larger church buildings instead of prayer – he took a short vacation.
Satan has had many victories – but this war is not yet over. God is asking every one of us to dust off our Armor (Eph.6), push the food aside, turn off the TV, get on our knees and begin to be the army He called us to be. God has given us every spiritual weapon to fight Satan and his demons, to overcome the forces of hell and to be the disciplined church we were called to be.
People get ready. Fast, pray, memorize the Word of God, stand on God’s promises, claim God’s promises, lose sleep because of fervent prayer, love those that hate you and stop returning evil for evil. Stop allowing your emotions to dictate how you feel.

Let go of the petty differences between you and others. Stop returning evil for evil. Pray until you see your answer. Pick one cause – abortion, orphans, widows, homelessness, poverty – and make it your cause. Don’t stop until you see the victory.
Stop giving up when you are discouraged – this is exactly what Satan waits for you to do.
People, if we don’t give up we will succeed. If we don’t stop, we will have victory. Stop complaining about your situation and how bad things are and do what God has called you to do. You are the very man, the very woman God has called to lead God’s army to victory in your community.
Get up and get going.
Amazing teaching!
